Mitko and Albena Dimitrov
Mitko and Albena Dimitrov of Mega Joy International were first called into ministry in Bulgaria in 1988 when the country was still under a communist regime.
Soon after that they became founders and senior pastors of one of the biggest churches in Bulgaria to which they dedicated 25 years of their life in pastoral ministry. It was the time of the great revival in Eastern Europe when crowds of young people were getting saved, so their church grew fast and had a powerful impact in their city and nation. In those early years, Mitko many times faced persecution from the communist authorities.
During the last 15 years Mitko and Albena, together with their son Chris, are traveling as itinerant speakers and ministering in a network of about 60 churches throughout the States. With their distinct teaching and prophetic gift and deep anointing of revelation, they are a true blessing to the Body of Christ. They love to dig deep and take out the hidden treasures of the Word of God, lifting up the finished work and matchless Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross.
They have a passion to minister in the Muslim nation of Turkey and make several mission trips there every year, believing for a mighty breakthrough for the Gospel there. They are part of Global Celebration Ministry and love to minister among the Gypsies in Bulgaria and bring the Good News to them. As part of their missions’ ministry, they have been supporting an orphanage for disabled children for 10 years now, providing regular donations of food and other basic supplies for the needs of these precious children and sharing God’s love with them.Through their ministry Mitko and Albena are dedicated to raise a generation with a revivalist spirit who will expand the Kingdom of God worldwide and bring the glorious Good News to the nations.
Mitko Dimitrov is also the author of several books among which are: JOY IS NOT AN OPTION, MORE THAN FORGIVEN, RISE UP AND WALK, etc.
